About Us

Kenneth Hay est Professeur Emeritus de l'art contemporain à l'Université de Leeds, (GB), et Professeur invité en ésthétique à l'Université Masaryk de Brno, CZ, où il travaille en tant que conférencier, artiste et écrivain. Il expose régulièrement au niveau international, plus récemment, à New York, Stockholm et Mallorca, (Fondaçion Mirò, 2012); Tbilisi, en Géorgie, à Prague et Brno (CZ), et à plusieurs Biennales de Venise (1997,2003,2009,2011). En 1996, avec Seetha A, il a établi Moorland Productions collaboration artistique et en 2007, avec Josef Danek (CZ), The Frozen Academy, des groupes qui ont été responsables de plus de 70 expositions et événements internationaux.

Kenneth Hay is Professor Emeritus of Contemporary Art Practice at the University of Leeds, and visiting Professor of Aesthetics at Masaryk University, Brno, CZ, where he works as a lecturer, artist and writer. He exhibits regularly internationally, most recently in New York, Stockholm and Mallorca (Mirò Foundation, 2012); Tbilisi, Georgia, Prague, Brno (CZ), and at several Venice Biennales (1995,2003,2009,2011). In 1996 with Seetha A, he set up Moorland Productions artistic collaboration and in 2007, with Josef Danek (CZ), The Frozen Academy, groups which have been responsible for over 70 international exhibitions and events.

Since 2010 he has hosted the annual international Larroque Arts Festival in the rural hamlet of Larroque, Tarn, with 500 artists from over 50 countries contributing work in video, installation, photography, performance, sound, digital media, painting, sculpture, poetry, and craft.
